Meet The Doctors

East Atlanta Gynecology Associates, P.C. would like to give you brief history about its doctors.

Ray L. Howell, MD, MBA, FACOG, FICS is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.   Dr. Howell completed his undergraduate studies at Howard University in Washington, D.C.   He received his medical degree from the University Of Arkansas College Of Medicine.   Dr. Howell received his obstetrical and gynecological training at Sinai Hospital and Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.   He also possesses a MBA degree from Stokley School of Business and Management.   His special interests include menopause, uterine fibroids, and laparoscopy and laser surgery. He is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Debra Wright-Francis, MD, FACOG is a native of Opelika, Alabama.   Dr. Wright-Francis completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard and Radcliff College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.   She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and has completed her internship in international medicine at The University of Texas at Southwestern Medical Center.   She received her obstetrical and gynecological training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.   She has a special interest in hormone replacement, hysterectomy alternatives, contraception, infertility, and family planning.   Dr. Wright-Francis is also fluent in Spanish.
